Woody Hanson Presenting on Relationship Between Thomas Edison and the Seminole at Edison and Ford Winter Estates
FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 30, 2019) — On January 28, at 6:30 p.m., fifth-generation Floridian, Woody Hanson, will speak about the relationship between the Seminole, Thomas Edison and Fort Myers at Edison and Ford Winter Estates. 
Hanson is a descendant of Fort Myers’ first permanent settlers and W. Stanley Hanson who was an expert with close Seminole alliances. He is currently a postgraduate student, studying American history at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
The event is free; however, it does not include tours or access to the laboratory. Donations will be accepted. Reservations are requested and participants can sign up through Eventbrite.
