Edison and Ford Winter Estates Opens Retail Store in Edison Mall
FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 30, 2020) — On November 9 at 4:30 p.m., Edison and Ford Winter Estates will celebrate the opening of its new retail store, the Edison Ford Shoppe, in the Edison Mall. The Greater Fort Myers Chamber will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the public will be treated to a phonograph demonstration, and an antique 1919 Model T Ford will be on display. The new store is located near Dillard’s in Edison Mall on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers. Masks are required in the mall.

The store features artwork, souvenirs, clothing, kids’ games, books, kitchen items and Thomas Edison and Henry Ford signature collector’s items. The store is an extension of the world-renowned historic site of famous inventors, Edison and Ford — located just a few miles away in Downtown Fort Myers, where visitors can explore more than 20 acres of botanical gardens, the historic winter homes, a 15,000-square-foot inventions museum, and botanic research laboratory. Thomas Edison was one of the first snowbirds to visit Fort Myers and is the namesake for Edison Mall.
