Edison and Ford Winter Estates Making Holidays Brighter for Soldiers
FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 3, 2018) — Edison and Ford Winter Estates is partnering with volunteers from the Cape Coral organization, Holiday 4 Heroes, to collect needed items and mail holiday postcards to soldiers stationed overseas.
The volunteers will be in Santa’s Workshop in the Edison Caretaker’s House on three Tuesday nights: December 4, 11, and 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. The group will offer different activities for children and families, including postcard art. Children and adults visiting Edison Ford can create postcards and Holiday 4 Heroes will mail them to active duty soldiers. Santa will be visiting on select nights. The nightly schedule is available on the website.
