Annual Mustang Show at Edison and Ford Winter Estates
FORT MYERS, Fla. (February 15, 2019) — On March 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Edison and Ford Winter Estates will host its annual Ford Mustang Car Show as a tribute to Henry Ford, the pioneer of the automobile industry. Owners of Ford Mustangs will exhibit their cars on Henry Ford’s lawn along the Caloosahatchee River. The Mustang has been popular ever since it debuted in 1964; in two years, more than one million Mustangs were sold.
Along with the car show, there will be music, a food truck and visitors can tour the gardens, museum, laboratory and see the historic homes. This family event is free for Edison Ford members and $20 for non-members, which includes a self-guided tour of the entire site. Visitors purchasing the guided or audio tour will also be able to enjoy the car show at no additional charge. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the restoration of the antique Ford car collection.
Owners wishing to register their car should visit our Web site to download the registration form. The deadline for registration is February 27 and the fee is $15 for one car and $5 for each additional car (includes admission for the registered participant and one passenger).
