Mina Edison Statue Installation

On February 10 at 11:00 AM, the Edison and Ford Winter Estates will be installing a statue of Mina Edison created by artist D.J. Wilkins and donated by Orvall McCleary.
The statue is cast in composite aluminum. She is “heroic size” (25% larger than life) and was made from a unique cast from an original clay model.
The statue will be located in the public garden area of the Edison Estates, named the Estates Heritage Garden in memory of the heirloom and heritage gardens of Thomas and Mina Edison. A dedication ceremony will be held on February 11 at 10:0 0 AM, to unveil the full figure statue. The unveiling ceremony is free to the public.
