Learn about our largest ‘ferns’ on site, those enormous curiosities that hang on heavy chains in and around the Edison Ford Winter Estates. We will also learn about another kind of ‘epiphyte’, the jungle cactus. Everyone knows the most famous, the Christmas cactus! While some have adapted to growing in a loose soil medium, unlike desert cactus, many of these are pendulous and do not tolerate drought. Be the first to see our new exhibit and learn more about these very cool plants!
