As a wedding planner, I am always looking for beautiful venues to show to my clients and help make their dream a reality. Many people don’t realize just how much planning goes into a wedding. The staff at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates are incredible. Cori Cramsey, the Events Manager, is an amazing and hard-working woman who will make sure your wedding day is perfect. The garden and grounds staff keep the property looking beautiful, while maintaining the historic integrity of the homes and gardens.
I recently had the privilege of creating, planning, and hosting a “content day styled shoot” with my incredible business partner Madeline of Madeline Paige Photography. We hosted ten photographers and created nine different photo opportunities for them to build their portfolio. We designed a beautiful oceanfront elopement-style ceremony that would take anyone’s breath away.
I put together a unique and classic table scape with a non-traditional color scheme and incredible accents like this custom-made table frame. We also had the opportunity to offer the photographers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shoot in Thomas Edison’s laboratory. This laboratory has been restored, so if Edison were to return, he could just pick up his work – right where he left off!
The historic site offers so many unique elements and spaces to use for an unforgettable wedding day. I would recommend Edison Ford not only for weddings but for private events and tours or event large events, such as charity galas. I highly recommend visiting the property during the holiday season.
