FIRST Lego League – Edison Ford Lego Team Wins Regional Entry and Champions Award at RoboFest Tournament
January 27, 2013
FIRST Lego League is an international competition that includes robotic challenges, a presentation project, a technical challenge and a core value competition for students.
Four homeschool students, who called themselves the Edison Lego Ninjas, were led by Edison Ford Education Coordinator, Pearce Augustenborg and Edison Wild Wizard, Glen Beitmen. Winning the tournament championship in Lakeland this past December qualifies the team to compete in the regional championship in Tampa. Support of the team was provided by the Edison and Ford Winter Estates and The Veranda Restaurant.
Good Luck Edison Lego Ninjas!
