Adult Education

Whether your interest is in art, gardening, wellness or history, Edison Ford classes and workshops offer adults the opportunity to innovate, create and discover their passion. Virtual presentations are also offered.

Monthly Garden Talks

Edison Ford horticultural staff instruct participants on a variety of topics relating to gardening in Southwest Florida. Talks are offered on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.

Plants will be available for purchase and Garden Talk participants will receive a coupon for 20% off plant purchases for use in the Garden Shoppe. Guests should wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat, and bring drinking water.

Tickets for the talk are $15 for Edison Ford members, or $20 for non-members unless otherwise noted (does not include tours). Registration is only available at the door. Click here to view our calendar of upcoming programs.

Gardening Classes

Horticultural Specialist, Karen Maxwell, teaches in-depth garden classes. The programs are held indoors, in an air-conditioned classroom. Class size is limited, so advance registration is required. Click here to view our calendar of upcoming programs.

Art Classes

Edison and Ford Winter Estates offers many opportunities throughout the year for residents and guests to learn painting techniques, create floral arrangements or other pieces of artwork.
