Camps

Join us as science and history come alive in our “living laboratory!” No experience is necessary to participate in these fun and fast-moving S.T.E.A.M. (science technology, engineering, art, and math) camps. For students currently in grades K-5, unless otherwise noted. Campers must bring lunches, and snacks if desired. Green Science

November 25-27

Using solar panels and electric motors, campers learn about the science of energy and electricity. This camp is focused on teaching the physics of energy and electronics.

Crazy Contraptions

With the power of simple machines and mechanics, campers build and learn about mechanical marvels. This camp explores simple machines, gearing ratios, and open-ended applications of these and various other mechanical concepts.

From 2-dimensional to 3-dimensional, ideas come to life as the campers explore the Edison Ford Winter Estates and the world of architecture and design. Activities in this camp include computer aided design, 3D printing, and exploration of the architecture of the Edison main house.

Future Makers Spring Break Camp

March 17 - 21

Campers release their full potential in this project-based camp, getting a crash course in code, electronics, and robotics. The camp then focuses on open-ended projects as the campers apply what they learn.

Wellness Policy

No campers experiencing symptoms of illness will be allowed to enter camp
If a student becomes ill during camp, they will be quarantined until they can be picked up
