Thank You to our Summer Camp Sponsor: Panther Printing
As the end of summer approaches, we’ve been reflecting on how fortunate we are to have the support of so many incredible local businesses and organizations.
A returning sponsor of summer camp at Edison Ford, as well as a business partner we’ve worked with on a variety of projects, Panther Printing has enabled us to invest in new camp materials and technologies and provide a camp scholarship to a student who might not otherwise have been able to attend!
Thank You to Our Summer Camp Sponsor: TriCircle Pavers
We are excited to recognize TriCircle pavers as a sponsor for our inventor’s summer camp! Summer camp sponsors have made it possible for us to invest in cutting edge technologies, improve camp materials, and provide sponsorship for students who might not otherwise be able to attend camp.
TriCircle has collaborated with Edison Ford on various projects. Their philosophy: “To invest in State of the Art equipment for manufacturing and quality control processes… TriCircle’s highly automated manufacturing equipment is used worldwide to produce high-quality concrete products,” makes them an ideal partner.

Thank You to Our Summer Camp Sponsor: Captains for Clean Water
We are fortunate to have an incredible group of local businesses, organizations, and philanthropists supporting the 2020 summer camp season at Edison Ford! Through their efforts, we are able to provide scholarships for students in need, improve camp materials, and invest in new technologies for campers to explore.
Captains for Clean Water was created to address an important issue: “Florida’s Economy Depends on Healthy Estuaries, and the Health of the Everglades.” We have worked with the organization in a variety of capacities over the last several years. Through their sponsorship, they have helped to create camp programming related to understanding water quality, conservation, biology, and ecology.
Thank you to Captains for Clean Water for their continued partnership!
Bill & Kayleigh
Bill and Kayleigh recently shared their love story with us.
Where did you and your fiancé meet?
We met at a junior hockey game at the Fort Myers Skatium. We were introduced by a mutual friend who, rightly so, thought we would hit it off!
Who popped the question? How, where, when?
Bill popped the question last July at the Skatium, where we had first met five years earlier. He had been coaching hockey there and one day when we were out running errands, he told me he had to stop in quickly. We sat down and suddenly he’s getting down on one knee! It was so romantic to be back in the spot where we had met!
Why did you choose Edison and Ford Winter Estates for your wedding day?
We chose Edison Ford for our wedding because of its beautiful scenery and unique Florida history. My family and I have been visiting the Holiday Nights festival at the estates since I was a little girl and I have always loved how beautiful it looks decorated with the holiday lights. Bill is a huge history nerd and loved visiting the museum when I first brought him to see it. I knew we had made the right decision when Bill’s parents came down to visit and were blown away with how beautiful the venue was.
Favorite memories made on your wedding day?
Our wedding is coming up in December, but we are so looking forward to the many memories that we will make. I am so excited for our two families to get together and celebrate with us. I just know it is going to be a beautiful day with a gorgeous backdrop!
Advice to those planning a wedding?
My advice to those planning a wedding is to stay organized and plan ahead! Schedule things as far in advance as you can. Not only do vendors book up quickly, but you also give yourself a bigger gap between deposits being due when you book things far in advance.
